vietnamese food, mmm, quality stuff. i look forward to a return trip. bring your appetite because portions are filling. if it wasn't far from my work i would come by more.

They also warm up their peanut sauce for the spring rolls. Which I'm really upset that it took me this long to find out about that. Everything was just spectacular. If you're looking for pho or a home like cooked meal. I would suggest you come to this place. For the amount of food you get it's well worth the money.

If you look for authentic vietnamese noodles, this is not the place. Plus, a bowl of Noodles has NO broth?! It's interesting cooking concept for a "Viet noodle bar".

BAD JUST BAD

One of my top places for delicious vietnamese food. This location is one of my favorites. The service was very helpful and observant. This place has a nice design. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I loved.

Today, I came to eat noodle with my family. The beef soup base is very strong. You can choose the thickness of the noodles. Nice beef noodles, will come again next time ^ _ ^

The best Pho ever! I am sad I don't live in SF anymore because this was and still is my favorite pho place!! I haven't been able to find one like it.The broth, the vegetables, the meat - it's all quality.

This a very nice resraurant. Trendy with lots of hipsters. Well, its Atwater Village, right? The food is very good with very healthy options. The restaurant have a simple but very tastefyl decoration. The crowd... hmm can be noisy when they bring their kids (people let kids express too much! LoL). I think it is expensive for type of food they serve. Regular vietnamese restaurants will be 1/4th the price. But I give it to them, this is not a regular restaurant. Servers are very nice

This is one of my favorite places for a casual meal in Atwater Village and the east side in general. The service is quick and friendly. Lots of large tables for large groups if needed. Every dish is well thought out and delicious. My favorite is the Turmeric Fish with brown rice. Love it!

Finally got to try the rice noodle omelette and it was fantastic!

I really had to think about this review. I typically can find something to complain about when I go out. This was not the case at Viet. The service was excellent and fast. The food was exceptional. The bathrooms were clean and fresh smelling. Considering the speed of service, the location, and quality of food, the price was very reasonable. I would happily eat here again.

Beef Pho was $20 - Bahn Mi $11Food was light but super bland and far to expensive. Lemon Grass Beef was also overcooked and bland. Ordered the fish salad which arrived after we finished our mains. Also tried the fish noodles. I would recomend the place across the street, not because I have tried the food but because its rare to come across such poor execution of vietnamese cuisine as you find at Viet Noodle Bar.

This is a nice and cozy place to eat. Chill ambiance, friendly staff, and excellent Pho.

Good pho. A bit expensive

This place is amazing. Simple, straight forward menu and setting. Fresh, well prepared food. There is just something special about this place. Delicious. BTW, I drove from San Diego for the chicken sandwich. Took home a week's worth of soup.

I love this place. Go for lunch and order the 'fish sandwich' ....an ordinary name for an extraordinary meal.

Amazing chicken soup

I had a lunch there after my working visit to the TOMS headquarters. The food was delicious and I simply recommend this restaurant to anybody who loves Vietnamese dishes.

Large quantities with fast service but the flavor and quality is really lacking. I was not impressed with their tan tan noodles or their Chong Viet Noodle Bar. They were very spicy and oily but with no flavor.

Love this place. The pho and ginger fish soups are great. Especially on a cold day. And the turmuric fish noodle are always great.

It's one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and the food is fresh. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it's a little pricey.

This is not pho ,just a hot water with rich noodle ,worst pho ever!!!!!

This pho place has northern style Vietnamese pho. Noodles are thicker and every time I've had this style of pho, I hated it but this place does an excellent job having a great balance of meat to noodles. I ventured and got the chef's special pho (beef broth with beef ribs and tendon) and although the rib meat was a bit fatty, i devoured my dish. If northern style pho was like this more consistently, I'd be eating it more often.

Best Vietnamese food I've ever tried! Gourmet made fresh, seasoned to perfection, I'm not a vegetarian but their vegetarian dishes all delicious and 100% organic, the shrimp rolls are super tasty and crunchy, not to mention their different variety of sauces, very delicious
